For Parents and Members of the North East Junior Golf Tour

NORTH EAST JUNIOR GOLF TOUR

NEJGT is a series of junior golf tournaments held over 14 different golf courses between Pittsburgh and Altoona, PA during June, July and August of 2010. All events are held on weekdays in the morning. There is also a 1-day Tour Championship in August.
All members are entitled to play in the Tour Championship.

History
2010 will be our 12th year having played 195 tournaments with a total of over 3.200 members.
In October 2007, Hollidaysburg Area High School won the Pennsylvania State Team Championship. In October 2009, Latrobe Area High School won the Pennsylvania State Team Championship. All members of both teams played on our Tour.

Tour Championship
This year the Tour Championship will be 18 holes (not 36). All winners will receive a plaque and Ping bag.

2010 Membership Information
Boys and girls ages 10-18 (no college students) can play. The cost to join the Tour is $35, and most events are $40. All divisions play 18 holes. Upon joining you will receive a handbook of rules, a bag tag and a pad of entry forms. No boys or girls under 10 years of age.

Boys 13-15 5700 yards
Boys 10-12 5100 yards

Package Deal
For a pre-paid cost of $300 a member can play in every event including the Tour Championship. The $300 also includes the annual membership fee.

  • Advise results etc., to any high school or college golf coach in U.S. as requested by member
  • Post results on our web site and in at least 30 newspapers in Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware, plus any requested by our tour member
